SketchActivities — Robots That Make Something

Most event robots greet, chat or hand out drinks. Ours draw, write and build — your guests leave holding what the machine made for them.

Not a Robot That Talks

Attention is easy. Something they keep is harder.
Hire a robot for a stand and you usually get conversation. It greets people, answers questions, poses for a selfie. Good for footfall, but nothing leaves with the visitor and nothing carries your brand out of the hall.

Ours produce. A portrait drawn from a guest's photo. An illustration made from something they typed. A badge with their name on it. A wish written by hand. A piece of a mosaic the whole room assembles by the end of the day.

Every mode ends with paper in someone's hand, and every layout carries your branding.

Three Ways It Creates

Guest being photographed for a robot sketch

From a photo

A guest is photographed, the software turns it into a line sketch, the robot draws it.
Guest typing an idea on the tablet menu

From a prompt

No photo needed. A guest types an idea — a retro car, a cat in a crown, their dream house — and the robot draws that instead.
Guest answering questions on the tablet

From a test

A few questions, and the answers become a personalised character. The questions, the humour and the result are written around your brand, not ours.

What It Runs

The software behind it is ours — SketchActivities — so a campaign needing a mechanic that isn't on this list gets it built rather than declined.
  • Portrait Sketches

The original mechanic and the easiest to explain. A guest's photo becomes a drawn portrait with their name on it.
  • Prompt Drawings

Guests describe what they want and get it drawn. No photo, no queue for the camera, and
nobody worrying about how they look.
  • Personalised Badges

Name, portrait or prompt drawing on the front. On the back, your conference schedule, a QR code, a floor map or sponsor branding — printed in advance, drawn on the day.
  • Written Cards

The robot writes by hand in five fonts. Wishes for a wall, anonymous feedback to your
team, fortunes, horoscopes. Whatever the text, it arrives on a card the guest keeps.
  • Colouring Pages

A guest describes a picture, the robot draws the outline, they colour it in themselves.
A5, A4 and smaller. Family days, children's zones, festivals.
  • Collaborative Mosaic

One large image split into numbered pieces. The robot draws them in sequence, guests
colour their own, and the wall fills up as the day goes. By the close you have a single
branded art object built by everyone in the room.

Pricing

Robot activations are priced per event. What moves the number is the mechanic, how many hours you need us on site, and how many machines the footfall calls for.

Send us your stand size, your dates and what you'd like guests taking home, and we'll come back with a quote.

What it is

An interactive robot activation where the machine produces something physical. Guests send a photo, a prompt or a message, and the robot draws or writes it while they watch. Portraits, badges, illustrations, wish cards, colouring pages and collaborative mosaics.

How it's different
Most event robots are built around conversation — they greet, answer questions and pose for photos. Useful for attention, but nothing leaves with the visitor. This one produces a branded object at the end of every interaction, which is what makes people stop, wait and come back.

How it works on the day

Guests don't queue at a tablet. A QR code at the stand opens a short form on their own phone — photo, prompt or message, sent from wherever they're standing. Requests go into a queue and out to whichever robot is free, so a busy stand gets more machines rather than a longer wait.

Your branding sits in the layout itself — logo, frame, event name, colours — set into the template before the day rather than stamped on afterwards.
Formats run from 10 x 15 cm up to A4.

Where it fits

Exhibition stands, brand activations, product launches, conferences, family days, festivals, weddings and private parties. The mechanic changes with the audience; the setup doesn't.
