Eagles Fan Activation in London: AI Sports Card Photo Booth

A game week London will remember

When the Philadelphia Eagles came to London in October 2026, the city went green. Flags on the streets, jerseys on the Tube, packed bars from the City to the West End. On 11 October the Eagles played the Jacksonville Jaguars, and for the fans it was more than a match. It was a pilgrimage, with supporters flying in from Philadelphia and travelling from across the UK and Europe.

Brands built activations around the game to meet those fans, and PhotoMonkey was part of one of them.

Three days at Goldwood, 30 Old Jewry

For three days our AI photo booth ran at Goldwood, 30 Old Jewry, London EC2R 8DQ, in the heart of the City, as part of a large fan activation around the game.
The brief: give every fan a reason to stop, a moment to remember and a branded keepsake they’d actually keep. Our answer was a personalised AI sports card for every guest.

How the AI sports card photo booth works

  1. Strike a pose. In jersey, scarf, face paint or anything else.
  2. AI does the magic. The photo becomes a pro-style sports card portrait with stadium lighting and team colours.
  3. Brand on every card. Logo, colours and event name are built into the card design.
  4. Print and share. A printed collectible card to take home, plus a digital copy on the phone.
About a minute per guest, with an operator on site throughout, so the queue kept moving even at peak times.

Why a trading card photo booth works for brands

Trading cards are part of American sports culture. Fans collect them, swap them and keep them for years. A card with your own face on it isn’t a throwaway print. It’s the souvenir of the trip.

For a brand, that means:

  • It goes home. A banner is seen for a second. A card sits on a shelf for years, with the brand on it.
  • It gets shared. Fans post their digital card the same day.
  • It builds a queue. Friends bring friends, and a busy stand pulls in more people.
  • It’s measurable. Optional email capture with on-screen consent turns footfall into data.

For three days we watched fans from both sides of the Atlantic queue together, compare cards and come back with friends. Being part of an event of this scale is exactly what we do it for. With 15+ years in the event industry and our own equipment, we know how to keep a multi-day activation running smoothly from the first guest to the last.

Sports card photo booth for your event

The same set-up works for football, rugby and cricket fan zones, sponsor stands, corporate hospitality at major fixtures, esports events and end-of-season awards nights. Card templates are designed around your brand, and for big crowds we add a second booth or print station.

It also pairs well with brand activation games, live merch printing or a full programme of digital activations in London. We cover London and the whole UK.
